Allison Rose Foundation (Ep. 54)

Allison “Ally” Rose Suhy was more than a beautiful face—her kindness and warmth shone from within. She loved helping others feel confident, whether braiding hair, doing makeup, or working with children at autism camps. Bringing joy to others came naturally—she lit up every room she entered. Though she lived with a severe nut allergy from a young age, Ally never let it define her. Supported by family, friends, and school staff, she embraced life fully and confidently.
At Ohio University, she quickly found her place—building friendships, joining Alpha Xi Delta, and diving into campus life. Tragically, during her first Dad’s Weekend, Ally suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction and passed away at just 18 years old.
Ally’s story is a powerful reminder of how critical food allergy awareness and preparedness are, especially as young adults gain independence. Her legacy lives on in the effort to create a safer, more informed world—so others can live fully, without fear.
